All meals were excellent. Brilliant chef. The staff were very helpful, as although I had wanted a walk in shower this was not available and the staff provided me with a rubber bath mat so I could use the shower over bath. I was also allocated a ground floor room which actually suited me being over 80.

A Delightful Stay at The Rufford Arms Hotel Restaurant My recent 4-night stay at The Rufford Arms Hotel Restaurant was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I truly had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this charming establishment. What truly sets The Rufford Arms apart is its incredible team. Every member of staff I encountered was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their warm welcome and attentive service made me feel right at home. And then there's the food! The cuisine served at the restaurant was truly excellent. Each meal was a delightful experience, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. It's clear that a lot of care and passion goes into every plate. Overall, my experience at The Rufford Arms Hotel Restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a place with wonderful staff and outstanding food, this is definitely the spot!

A restaurant with rooms, so convenience for lunch when we arrived, and breakfast next day was delicious. Room comfortable and had all we needed.

All of the staff we met during our stay were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value and priced according to what you ate, not a flat rate included with the room, which we preferred. Good quality fluffy towels in the bathroom, large TV, tea/coffee in the room and pleasant decor throughout.

Location was perfect for us visiting family nearby Room was clean and bright. Bed very comfortable. Liked mugs on refreshment tray Smart cheerful dining room room and well cooked breakfast Allowed to check-in early Staff friendly

The hotel was start to finish was simply perfect. From booking in to checking out, everything was great. The room was well laid out, clean, with beautiful décor and very dog friendly. The room was spacious and really ticked all our boxes. The food was fabulous. Breakfasts and evening meals were perfect in every way. Your tastebuds woke up with all the different tastes and flavours, the food was well presented and really cooked to perfection in every way. Staff were warm, attentive and very professional with impeccable courtesy and politeness. I think my only criticism would be that the hotel missed a lounge area, were you can relax and chill with a drink before eating. The hotel would really benefit from such area and would really add value to the overall experiences. The surrounding area is perfect for dog walking and the canal is so quiet and relaxing. Whatever you do these days, it can be pricy, but I thought the prices to stay and eat where really reasonable and not out of the way. You get what you pay for without a doubt! It’s certainly worth a stay and to eat here. So would we go again? Yes, without a doubt as its so comfortable to stay here and the food is so divine and so dog friendly!

The staff were amazing! The location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely sunset. The facilities are also lovely. The only thing we found is that the rooms weren't very soundproof. Some guests arrived late at night next door to us and though they weren't overly loud, it did keep us up a bit longer. That said, we would definitely go for an overnight weekend trip again.

The hotel had a clean fresh feel. Everything was spotless and all our needs met. I've worked in Customer Service for some years and have a high regard for venues that have well trained staff with clear expectations about standards of service. The Rufford Arms staff were all highly professional, courteous and helpful. The food was also excellent and a reasonable price.

Have stayed a few times and must say the food is spectacular as always and amongst the best anywhere we have stayed. Liver pate was fabulous and the rest just as good. the total cost including wine was very reasonable indeed. I can highly recommend having dinner there.
